One of our collaborators, Dr. Susan George, has been named a Member of the Order of Canada. She has been honoured for her pioneering contributions to the fields of molecular pharmacology and neuroendocrinology.
Dr. George is an endocrinologist at the Toronto General Hospital. She sees many of our patients for 22q11.2DS-related hormonal conditions such as thyroid disease and hypoparathyroidism (low calcium).
